Fragrant Fury 11×17 Acrylic Glass Print

Upon exploring southern Stanley County, Cristen sought shelter from 70 mph winds and damaging hail. Not expecting the severity of the storm to be so grave she stopped at a ranch along Lincoln Road north of Draper asking for refuge to wait out the storm. This photograph was taken just outside the shed door where her car was safely parked.”It was
so dark out, I couldn’t really see exactly what was in the foreground. The lightning helped me out a little and I could see the horizon. Focusing on the fury of the storm I didn’t realize the lilac bushes until after the long exposure. The color paring of the blossoms and sky was unintentional and so perfect! I can even still feel the wind raging. I am so thankful for the kindness of neighbors!”
