Last week I posted about my favorite hiking pants as I prepared to go on a hiking trip through the Badlands with a few friends.
Since we were there from mid-morning to mid-afternoon I converted my photos to black and white. During the day, the sun casts a harsh white light on the world. It’s not usually an ideal time of day for shooting landscapes. Since I knew my photos wouldn’t be very exciting in color, I converted them to black and white.
The clouds and the deep color of the sky were perfect!
